The showroom at Eastburn Country Furniture is an Aladdin's Cave of original pieces, freestanding furniture, homeware and bespoke kitchens. Take a tour in this blog post.
In late 2017 we made some big changes to our showroom, so if you haven’t visited us in a while now would be the perfect time!
The open plan space of our main showroom is flooded with natural light coming from the large windows around the exterior of our mill. The showroom stretches across three levels and the most recent space we have updated is the back room.
Step inside for instant cheeriness as you take in the fitted kitchen unit painted in Farrow & Ball ‘St. Giles Blue’. We designed the piece especially for our showroom. We hope you’ll agree that it perfectly demonstrates how we can tailor our bespoke country kitchens to accommodate modern appliances.
Just before Christmas we put the finishing touches to Simon and Andrew’s office. We wanted the space to be open, with the potential for privacy when our customers come to start the design process with us. For the office we mixed urban design in the metal door railings with touches from the country such as the exposed flooring.
The large central table allows us to lay out all of our concept sketches and designs, colour charts and swatches.
The shelving and desks were custom built in our own workshop, and help us to keep everything tidy, which is especially hard when we’re working on multiple projects at once.
The sliding doors are one of our favourite features. They are painted in Farrow and Ball ‘Railings’ which looks great against the lighter walls. Once again our showroom demonstrates how we can build pieces that really work with your space. The sliding doors allow us to use as much of the showroom and office as possible, and they look fantastic, if we do say so ourselves!
If you’re looking for seating you won’t go wrong with a visit to the showroom. We have a large selection of kitchen seating available including tall stools, benches and chairs.
We’re always adding new homeware and smaller items to our showroom that you can take home with you. Simon visits antique and trade fairs every few months and brings back the treasures that he finds for our top floor, where you can browse and buy to your heart’s content. We’re very excited to announce that we’ll soon be adding a pop-up shop to this website with some of our top picks and finds from our homeware hunts! That way if you can’t make it into the showroom you won’t miss out.
Our showroom is open Monday-Saturday 9am – 4pm and there’s no need to call ahead, just turn up!
